Volleyball Recap: Caston Comes Up Short

Caston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Miami Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Miami to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoey Sparks, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Sparks a new career-high. Grace Sailors also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Caston's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Miami, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Caston has already played their next game (against Peru), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Miami, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Delphi Community on the 23rd.
