Softball Game Preview: Dysart Demons vs. Tempe Buffaloes

For the second straight game, Dysart will face off against Tempe. Dysart is taking a road trip to face off against Tempe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dysart comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Dysart came up short against Tempe on Tuesday, falling 23-13.

Juliana Bustraan and Mya Sias did some serious damage despite the final result: Bustraan scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-6, while Sias scored two runs while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Sias a new career-high in RBI (two). Elizabeth Kent was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Even though they lost, Dysart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Tempe and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Dysart, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
