Valor Christian entered their tilt with Golden on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Demons with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Demons, too.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

Valor Christian's offense was headlined by Camble Booth and Bergen Waitman, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Piper McFadden and her 21 assists. Kora Fisher controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Valor Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Golden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Valor Christian and Fossil Ridge will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dakota Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
