Baseball Recap: Parkersburg South Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Parkersburg South lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Marietta, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Patriots blew past the Tigers 12-6 on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their two-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Carter McLain, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Parkersburg South: the team is 11-3 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise.
