For the second straight game, Wellington will face off against Severance. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Silver Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wellington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Wellington came up short against Severance and fell 9-4. The Eagles have struggled against the Silver Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jaxson Pulley and Deegan Kiser did some serious damage despite the final result: Pulley went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Kiser went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Conner Lance also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The win was the eighth in a row for Severance, bringing their record up to 17-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wellington, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
