Football Recap: San Juan Broncos vs. Kanab Cowboys
On Friday, the San Juan Broncos took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Kanab Cowboys. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
San Juan was led to victory by Jagger Nieves and JD Palmer. Nieves rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, while Palmer rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Tripp Palmer made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Kanab lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hayden Gubler, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown.
The win made it two in a row for San Juan and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Kanab, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
San Juan will square off against Summit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Juan will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. As for Kanab, they will face off against Millard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kanab focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
