Potlatch faced Kendrick in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Loggers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-2 victory. Considering the Loggers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jameson Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Potlatch got a massive performance out of Waylan Marshall, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Connor Carpenter also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Potlatch pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Kendrick, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Potlatch by a score of 10-0 later that day.
