Football Recap: Proviso East Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Proviso East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Hinsdale South Hornets 46-6. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Hornets are ranked 41st).

Proviso East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hinsdale South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Proviso East will take on rival Downers Grove South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hinsdale South is set to face off against their familiar foe Willowbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
