Football Game Preview: Bellarmine Prep Lions vs. Central Kitsap Cougars + How To Watch

The Bellarmine Prep Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Central Kitsap Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bellarmine Prep has three straight wins, Central Kitsap has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Bellarmine Prep strolled past Silas with points to spare, taking the game 26-10. The matchup marked the Lions' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Central Kitsap fell victim to Mount Tahoma and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the T-Birds 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the T-Birds are ranked tenth).

Central Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bellarmine Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Bellarmine Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Kitsap in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
