Volleyball Recap: Ross' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Ross hadn't done well against Harrison recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rams came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Ross had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Harrison saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carsyn Easter had 16 digs and two aces. Easter is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Ross' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Harrison, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Monroe on the 28th. As for Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Taylor on the 26th.
