Soccer Recap: Downtown Doral Find Success

Downtown Doral kept a clean sheet against Reagan on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Reagan Bison 1-0. Given the Dolphins' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Bison are ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Downtown Doral's one-goal win came courtesy of Armando Grullon, who's now up to two this season.

Downtown Doral has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-3.

Downtown Doral wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Columbus on the 14th.
