Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pulaski Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Mt. Pulaski gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Clinton Maroons 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hilltoppers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2018.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mt. Pulaski got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-10.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pulaski will take on Riverton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clinton, they will challenge Cerro Gordo/Bement at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
