Volleyball Recap: West Laurens Takes a Loss

West Laurens lost against Veterans back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warhawks.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-5.

Veterans found their leader in sophomore Tori Robinson, who had six aces. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Cyrulinski, who had five kills and three aces.

West Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Veterans, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

West Laurens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Statesboro on the 21st. As for Veterans, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 23rd.
