Murray waltzed into their match on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Woods Cross Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Alex Beckstead paced Murray's offense, picking up six kills. Beckstead got some help from Daniel Haskell and his 17 assists. Alex Cushing controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Murray's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Woods Cross, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Murray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Syracuse on the 18th. As for Woods Cross, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Grantsville on the 18th.
