Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral lost against Mulvane back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Roadrunners fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mulvane scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

Makiya Maka paced Chaparral's offense, picking up ten kills. Maka got some help from Emily Harding and her 21 assists.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Mulvane, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6-5.

Chaparral has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Moundridge on the 4th. As for Mulvane, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Central Christian Academy on the 4th.
