After a string of nine wins, Clear Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Brazoswood Buccaneers by a score of 5-4. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buccaneers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Brazoswood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Creek will venture away from home to take on Clear Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
