Thayer Central had won two straight games and Paige Tietjen did her part to make it three on Thursday. Thayer Central simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Twin River 58-27 thanks in part to Tietjen, who went 6-for-10 en route to 18 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.
Another player making a difference was Addie Marsh, who posted 15 points and three steals. What's more, she also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January of 2024.
Despite the defeat, Twin River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mya Ramaekers had 11 points and five steals.
