Football Game Preview: Regents Knights vs. Grace Prep Lions

Two dominant signal callers in Jack Devine and Kohein Jergenson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Regents Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Grace Prep Lions at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Regents is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Regents' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Brentwood Christian to the tune of 49-0. Considering the Knights have won six contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Regents' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Smith, who picked up 120 receiving yards and one score. Smith's longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards. Kade Millington also helped with two TDs in total.

Meanwhile, Grace Prep lost 47-21 to Brook Hill on Friday.

Regents' victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Grace Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Regents against Grace Prep in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
