Basketball Recap: Branson Triumphs

On Saturday, the Branson Pirates earned a 53-43 victory over the Richland Bears.

Branson's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Richland, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

The future could be bright for both Branson and Richland: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Branson will try to hand Parkview their 12th-straight loss when the two meet at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Richland will look to extend Laquey's five-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
