The Rialto Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Silverado Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Rialto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Santa Ana Valley as they made off with an 18-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Rylee Estrada was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Estrada was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Rialto got a massive performance out of Johanna Zamano, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and one double. Zamano is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Delilah Munoz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Rialto was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Silverado came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Rebels. The Hawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 27-6).
Valerie Beltran was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Victoria Patino also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Rialto pushed their record up to 9-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Silverado, their record is now 13-11.
Saturday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rialto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like Silverado struggles in that department as they've averaged .391. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
