It was a good run, but Salesian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the St. Anthony Saints, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Saints when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Salesian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-14.

Salesian's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Anthony, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salesian will square off against St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Anthony, they will face off against West Covina at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
