Soccer Recap: Hayfield Comes Up Short

Hayfield was the 2-1 winner over West Springfield when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Hayfield fell just short of West Springfield by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Hayfield have lost by just one goal.

Hayfield's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Springfield, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Hayfield and West Springfield will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Hayfield will take on rival Annandale at 7:15 p.m. on April 4. Meanwhile, West Springfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
