Galena came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Stockton Blackhawks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in September.

Galena didn't let Stockton take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24.

Mya McCoy paced Galena's offense, picking up ten kills. McCoy got some help from Emma Ehrler and her 19 assists.

Galena's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Stockton, they moved to 21-4 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Galena and Stockton will both be playing Warren the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blackhawks will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
