Basketball Recap: Cheyenne Wells Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Cheyenne Wells lost against Syracuse back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cheyenne Wells Tigers fell 43-34 to the Syracuse Bulldogs.

Cheyenne Wells lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Evan Scheimer, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubry Carroll, who had seven points and three steals.

Cheyenne Wells' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Syracuse, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cheyenne Wells Tigers challenge the Elkhart Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Syracuse, they will welcome Las Animas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
