Flag Football Recap: Placer Takes a Loss

Placer lost against Del Campo back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillmen were just a hair shy of victory and fell 7-6 to the Cougars. Despite 272 more yards than the Cougars, the Hillmen couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Paige Denniston threw for 263 yards on 21 of 32 attempts. Addison Riddle was her top target, picking up 115 receiving yards. On the ground, Zoe Martin rushed for 46 yards.

Placer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Del Campo, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Placer wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 29-0 victory against River Valley on the 25th. As for Del Campo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-0 win against Roseville on the 25th.
