Softball Recap: East Jackson Takes a Loss

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 16-4 to the Michigan Center Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Wednesday.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Michigan Center, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Jackson will venture away from home to face off against Jonesville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Michigan Center, they will challenge Lumen Christi Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
