Jackson Center took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Riverside Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won nine in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson Center took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-14.

Tatum Reichert paced Jackson Center's offense, picking up 11 kills. Reichert got some help from Laynee Shields and her 20 assists. Audrey Byrd controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Jackson Center will be playing at home against Marion Local at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to face off against Indian Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
