Sedgwick County is 8-2 against Haxtun since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cougars will challenge the Fightin' Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Sedgwick County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Sedgwick County can't be too worried about heading out to take on Haxtun: they just beat Heritage Christian at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Cougars came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Sedgwick County was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Haxtun was able to grind out a solid win over Dayspring Christian Academy on Saturday, taking the game 3-1. The Fightin' Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Haxtun walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 12-25, 25-14.

Sedgwick County's record is now 16-5. As for Haxtun, their record now sits at 8-14.

Sedgwick County took their victory against Haxtun in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fightin' Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
