Volleyball Recap: La Quinta Takes a Loss

La Quinta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Valley View Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Saturday.

La Quinta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Valley View, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, La Quinta will square off against Indio at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rajahs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Valley View, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
