Basketball Game Preview: Monticello Billies vs. White Hall Bulldogs

Monticello hasn't had much luck against White Hall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Monticello Billies will venture away from home to challenge the White Hall Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Monticello is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rison. One positive for the Billies, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

White Hall has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Mills University Studies. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

White Hall's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Monticello, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Monticello took a serious blow against White Hall in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 59-28. Can Monticello avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
