Softball Recap: Monta Vista Comes Up Short

Monta Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-4 to the MacDonald Condor. That's two games in a row now that the Matadors have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Monta Vista saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Kampp, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Monta Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for MacDonald, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Monta Vista will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saratoga at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for MacDonald, they will square off against Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
