Preview: Westside Rams vs. Easley Green Wave

The Westside Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Easley Green Wave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Westside posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Greenwood 62-41. The win was just what Westside needed coming off of a 74-53 defeat in their prior matchup.

Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Williams, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kmajay Jenkins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Even though Easley has not done well against Berea recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Easley came out on top against Berea by a score of 61-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Easley.

Westside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Easley, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Westside didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Easley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Easley's Ethan Crews, who scored 18 points.
