Softball Recap: Belle Plaine Comes Up Short

Belle Plaine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Iowa Valley Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Plainsmen couldn't push the score so high this time.

Belle Plaine's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Iowa Valley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Belle Plaine has already played their next match, a 10-1 defeat against Lynnville-Sully on the 6th. As for Iowa Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against Keota on the 6th.
