Basketball Recap: Hendersonville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hendersonville lost against Asheville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bearcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the Cougars. The loss put an end to the Bearcats' undefeated start to the season.

Zaryah Tucker was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 23 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliot Scully, who scored three points along with 15 rebounds and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hendersonville fell to 2-1. As for Asheville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Hendersonville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville will be paying especially close attention to the Bearcats' game: after the Bearcats face off against the Knights, they'll take on Asheville again at 6:30 p.m. on December 3.
