Softball Preview: Bullard Knights vs. Edison Tigers

Bullard is 10-0 against Edison since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bullard Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Edison Tigers at 3:30 p.m. Bullard will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.

Bullard gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Madera and snuck past 6-5.

Meanwhile, Edison can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Justin Garza a 16-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for Edison.

Anisia Rivera was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Joslyn Marby, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Bullard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
