It was a good run, but Neshannock unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers 56-51. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lancers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Chargers are ranked 171st).

Neshannock's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Neshannock will square off against Shenango at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenango will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Neshannock surely won't give up without a fight. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart has already played their next game (against Western Beaver), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
