Basketball Recap: Cazenovia Takes a Loss

Cazenovia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Westhill Warriors 87-54. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Warriors are ranked 21st).

Cazenovia now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Westhill, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cazenovia will square off against Solvay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westhill, they will welcome Bishop Ludden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
