Baseball Recap: Coupeville Comes Up Short

Coupeville's last matchup with Orcas Island could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Wolves lost 12-2 to the Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Coupeville and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Orcas Island, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-9.

Coming up, Coupeville will face off against South Whidbey at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Orcas Island, they will challenge Granite Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
