Meanwhile, while Lyons put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Republic County. The Lions put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 11-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lyons and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Minneapolis, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
