Bardstown has gone a perfect 6-0 against Fort Knox recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Fort Knox took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bardstown, who comes in off a win.

Bardstown took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Cumberland County 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 13th.

Preston Ferriell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Ferriell was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Ferriell wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Nalley, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Landen Snellen was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Fort Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity.

Eli Ortega made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Mannex Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Bardstown's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16-1. As for Fort Knox, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Bardstown was able to grind out a solid victory over Fort Knox in their previous matchup on Tuesday, winning 5-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
