Softball Recap: Bloomington Purple Raiders vs. Limestone Rockets
Bloomington had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Limestone Rockets 3-1. The Purple Raiders haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Coming up, Bloomington will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Limestone, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-7 defeat against Illinois Valley Central on the 18th.
