Softball Recap: Sandy's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Sandy had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Beaverton Beavers 10-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pioneers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Sandy's record is now 6-7. As for Beaverton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandy will welcome Pendleton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaverton, they will host Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
