Memorial entered their tilt with Waynesfield-Goshen on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 3-0 shutout. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Roughriders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Memorial now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Memorial and Waynesfield-Goshen will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Roughriders will face off against rival Bath at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waynesfield-Goshen is set to take on their familiar foe Hardin Northern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
