Baseball Recap: Fenwick Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Fenwick was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to the Fayetteville Bulldogs.

Andrew Henderson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Ryan Lazewski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fayetteville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Fenwick is taking a road trip to take on Winter Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winter Park's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Fenwick's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fayetteville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against LaBelle on the 26th.
