Basketball Game Preview: Pass Christian Pirates vs. Bryant Hurricanes

The Pass Christian Pirates will square off against the Bryant Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pass Christian and Ocean Springs meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Pirates took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Bryant blew past St. Patrick, posting a 61-26 win. The game marked the Hurricanes' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win made it two in a row for Bryant and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Pass Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything came up roses for Pass Christian against Bryant when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 87-47 win. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
