Volleyball Recap: Walsh Jesuit Comes Up Short

Walsh Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Walsh Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Walsh Jesuit will square off against rival Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Vincent-St. Mary is set to take on their familiar foe St. Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
