Volleyball Recap: Boone Grove Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with South Central

Boone Grove faced South Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolves fell just short of the Satellites by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Satellites: they've now lost seven in a row.

Boone Grove actually scored more points across those five sets (113-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26, 16-25, 14-25, 19-17.

Boone Grove now has a losing record of 3-4. As for South Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Boone Grove will be playing at home against Rensselaer Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Central, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Washington Township on the 21st.
