Marissa/Coulterville came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against New Athens, but Jamie Wilson wouldn't allow it. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Meteors by a score of 2-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Wilson, who had 15 digs and four assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23.

New Athens moved to 8-20 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-11 record this season.

As of now, neither New Athens nor Marissa/Coulterville have any future games scheduled.
