Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Cardinals vs. Cleveland Warriors

Lincoln is a perfect 10-0 against Cleveland since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lincoln has six straight victories, Cleveland has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson, taking the game 4-1.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cleveland's offense. They came up short against Grant on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Cleveland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Lincoln made off with an 11-2 victory. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
