Football Recap: John Adams Takes a Loss

John Adams came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks, falling 28-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 24-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.

Leading Frank J. Macchiarola to victory were Ahmed Cisse and Jayden Browne. Cisse rushed for 67 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries, while Browne rushed for six yards and one TD. Zyaire Walker got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

John Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Frank J. Macchiarola, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
